The Insight and Analysis Manager is a key role responsible for delivering value-added insights and ad hoc analysis of client trends, department results and market performance to answer pressing business questions and proactively identify issues and opportunities.  This position identifies key strategic information around client engagement, client segmentation, buying patterns and market context to drive senior management decision-making.
Main Activities Include:
  • Develop oversight, ownership, direction and delivery for client insight projects, in conjunction with Head of Insight, ensuring that all work is aligned to a deep understanding of Christie’s business objectives and overall strategy
  • Create meaningful and actionable analysis and insight using transactional, market and other contextual data to inform business decisions
  • Enhance the Insight function by introducing new techniques and methodologies for advanced analysis
  • Develop strategies and methodologies for the analytical use of client data to inform client engagement, marketing and sales strategies
  • Determine relevant client analysis/KPIs as part of an evolving client framework to provide the business a better understanding of how well we are supporting and engaging our clients.
  • Analyse competitor sale, value and volume performance to identify new opportunities
  • Drive and scope change leading to the best use of client and market data for the benefit of key stakeholders
  • As part of the broader Insight team, contribute to the development of monthly and quarterly KPI reports to provide insights into client behaviour driving overall results
  • Build and develop a team of insight analysts to meet the business needs
Experience and Skills Required:
  • MBA or Master’s Degree in Business, Math, Engineering or related fields
  • 5+ years work experience in performance analytics, business intelligence, finance or consulting
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skill set; demonstrable track record of using advanced data mining and statistical techniques (predictive/ regression models)
  • Demonstrated experience in using databases and spreadsheets, with strong ability in culling down details into key messages, learning’s, and actions
  • Strong technical knowledge of SAS/SQL and experience with database management (Oracle) and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Able to tackle unstructured/undefined problems and apply strategic framework
  • Excellent strategic thinking capabilities with ability to synthesize large amounts of information and logically structure deliverables
  • Experience in conceptualising and developing presentations for  senior level meeting – can guide and train team in development of high quality presentations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Relentless focus on quality and ability to produce accurate information
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability and confidence to present to a wide range of audiences including Senior Management
