PERSON SPECIFICATION
Our client seeks an ambitious and proactive Account Executive to join their internationally expanding company. The role requires a highly organised team player with excellent attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have proven PR experience, a genuine passion for arts and culture, and an excellent understanding of the media.

Essential
• An arts degree, BA or MA, in History of Art, Fine Art, or similar
• Minimum 1-2 years’ PR experience, ideally with an agency or in-house
• Proven culture sector experience and a genuine passion for arts and culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Research skills
• Copywriting and editing skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to work within a small team as well as independently
• Proactive, and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible approach to work with ability to attend evening and weekend events where necessary
• Experience of event management, specifically private views and press previews

Preferred
• Knowledge of media databases (Gorkana), Photoshop and Mac
• Ability to construct and implement digital strategies with a focus on social media
• A network of professional contacts and relationships in the arts, culture and luxury industries
• Languages desirable

JOB SPECIFICATION
Account Executive to work on campaigns for clients across the arts, culture and luxury sectors, including, but not limited to, art fairs, public institutions, not-for-profits, commercial galleries and festivals.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Delivering strategic media and promotional campaigns for clients:
• Acting as a first point of contact for clients and building client relationships
• Creating and editing press releases, media lists and publicity plans
• Collating client information
• Responding to journalist requests and enquiries
• Securing editorial coverage
• Media monitoring and collating coverage
• Managing social media channels
• Working at client events, private views, photocalls, press offices and launches
• Building relationships with UK and international media
• Liaising with stakeholders in the corporate, events and culture sectors
• Supporting Account Managers and Directors on campaigns and events
• Contributing to prospective client campaign proposals and meetings
• Managing social media
• Assisting with the supervision of interns

Salary: £18-22,000 (depending on experience)
