Advocacy & Events Manager

Working in the Advocacy and Events team you will manage variety of events at and for Tate, including, but not limited to, dinners, receptions, private views and breakfasts. Working closely with the Head of Advocacy and Events and the wider team, you will play a key role in the success of each project. Utilising your skill and experience you will ensure smooth running of projects that strengthen and broaden Tate’s relationships with individuals and organisations. In this role you will have particular responsibility for the strategic planning of Artist and Legacy activity.

To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record of handling multiple projects at one time and working calmly under pressure. You will also have a demonstrable experience in relationship management through events, ideally within an arts environment. Your excellent eye for detail and strong verbal and written communication skills will be coupled with the ability to work well both on your own initiative and collaboratively as part of a team, contributing expertise and leadership.

This position is offered on a temporary contract for up to 12 months
