Here at Tate, we act as a champion for art in society. Our Corporate Partnerships Team plays its part by delivering significant income using the full range of Tate’s assets. Among the most established and successful fundraising teams in the UK, they establish creative, multi-strand corporate partnerships that range from £100k to millions. And, with the transformed new Tate Modern now open and setting the standard for museums and galleries for the 21st century, the opportunities are greater than ever before.
Day-to-day, you’ll proactively account manage a share of our corporate partnerships to ensure strategic growth. You’ll also help ensure we create and deliver some truly interesting, cutting edge and competitive opportunities for our corporate clients. Overseeing the internal project management of each partnership by regularly liaising with relevant Tate departments will be important too, as will working with and motivating the Corporate Partnerships Officers. And, when it comes to helping to cultivate new prospects or identifying partners with the capacity to be repeat funders and devising and implementing a strategic approach to secure their future business, again, we’ll rely on you.
As well as significant account management experience, ideally gained in a marketing, PR, charity or arts environment, you have an innate ability to build an inclusive, respectful and collaborative culture within a team. You also have excellent organisational and project management skills and a flair for juggling a busy workload to meet deadlines. Applying judgement and discretion to complex situations comes naturally to you too. What’s more, you’re proficient using a relationship or sales database and, above all, have what it takes to create a vision to bring about change and influence the behaviour of others.
This position is offered on a fixed-term contract for 2 years.
