Art. World. Jobs.
This is an exciting chance for an aspiring fundraiser to join the team and help Tate to strengthen our collection further. In this role, you will provide organisational and administrative support to sustain Tate’s Acquisitions Committees, which are dedicated to building specific areas of the collection. You will assist with the delivery of Committee meetings and cultivation activity and promote first-class stewardship for donors to the collection, enabling Tate to strengthen the gallery’s international network and realise major new acquisitions. Along the way, you will work with some of the best fundraisers and curators in their fields, and be exposed to leading art collectors and philanthropists from around the world.
You will have relevant administrative, organisational and planning skills, in an environment where strong client relationship management and excellent customer service is essential. You should have strong written and verbal communication skills, be numerate with excellent attention to detail, and have confidence in your ability to work with high-achieving individuals from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. You are an enthusiastic self-starter with a flair for juggling a busy and varied workload. What’s more, you are a team player with the ability to support an inclusive, respectful and collaborative culture within a team and across a large organisation. Above all, you are inspired by the work of Tate and eager to hone your skills as a fundraiser at one of the UK’s premier cultural institutions.
Tate aims to attract and retain talented people from all backgrounds. We particularly encourage applications from black, Asian, ethnic minority, and/or disabled applicants as these groups are currently underrepresented in the cultural sector.
