The Role

This role will be the key full time position responsible for the leadership of the newly created Business and Financial Management Tower of Christie’s Technology Group. This tower is responsible for cross-department management and governance with direct oversight of vendor management, SLA management, procurement management, budget management, cross tower programme management, training and change management, communications management and governance.

Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to

  • Lead the Business and Financial Management Tower of Christie’s Technology Group.
  • Manage the contractual and business relationship with our key vendor partners and regularly review vendor relationships to identify opportunities for savings and optimizations.
  • Manage key SLAs related to our vendor partnerships and manage the escalation processes when SLAs are in breach.
  • Manage the procurement process for the on boarding of new partnerships or the assignment of contractual project work.
  • Manage the training and change management processes related to delivery of technology solutions.
  • Manage CTG internal and business facing communications.
  • Design CTG business strategies and plans to meet company goals.
  • Provide programme level governance over CTG projects and processes.
  • Ensure that CTG processes adhere to legal guidelines and principles.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for Technology and provide guidance to the other towers on budget management.
  • Regularly evaluate department spend and identify opportunities for savings and optimizations.
  • Support and strengthen the relationships between the Technology function and other business functions.

The Candidate

  • Strong understanding of the key Enterprise systems supporting Christie’s business processes.
  • Strong understanding of Christie’s business processes.
  • Strong and proven team leadership skills.
  • A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
  • The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies
  • The ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues
  • Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
  • The ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business; applies equal conveyance regarding business strategy and IT strategy, business processes and work flow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realization and service delivery
  • Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
  • Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong abilities to develop and enhance relationships with clients and peers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to produce clear, concise, detailed documentation.
  • Flexible, pragmatic and professional approach, with ability to anticipate problems and work with incomplete information.
  • Able to provide accurate estimates and meet deadlines.
