We are looking for a creative and passionate person to join our marketing team at Tate.
2018/19 is an exciting time for Tate Britain and the start of a new phase in our 121 year history. Building on the recent success of David Hockey, Queer British Art, and All Too Human we have Don McCullin, Van Gogh and Britain, Frank Bowling and William Blake to follow.
You love the arts and creativity and share our passion to engage with broad and diverse audiences. You are brimming with interesting ideas for original marketing partnerships, exciting advocates, bold media choices and marketing content which cuts through. You are also extremely organised, proactive and want to develop your existing skills at Tate.
Working closely with Tate Britain’s Marketing Managers, you’ll help in the implementation of marketing Tate Britain’s world-class exhibition programme, using the full marketing mix. You’ll build on your experience of working with different internal and external teams to help you undertake small-scale marketing campaigns and contribute to large-scale campaigns as required. With your growing knowledge of social media and digital marketing you’ll work with the digital team to produce content to support the campaigns you’re working on.
With the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team, as well as individually to develop own projects, you will thrive in a very busy environment with patience and empathy even when under pressure. You will have excellent organisational skills, time management skills and an attention to detail, with the ability to work flexibly.
Previous experience in an arts marketing environment is not essential and we encourage all interested individuals capable of demonstrating they have the broad range of transferable skills required to apply for this role.
This position is offered on a temporary contract of up to 12 months covering a secondment to cover maternity leave.
