Membership and Ticketing Services Assistant (FTC, Full/Part-time)

Art Marketing and PR, Art Museums and Institutions, Art Sales
   Location: London
   Salary: £20,755
Experience: Junior Level
  Organisation: Tate
Deadline: 20/01/2020

Are you passionate about providing excellent service to customers? Are you a great communicator who enjoys engaging people from different backgrounds? Would you enjoy selling and promoting a range of services and products for a leading arts organisation?

If this sounds like you and you would really like the chance to create positive experiences for our customers, then this may well be the job for you.

Our Membership and Ticketing Services (MTS) operate ticketing and membership sales in the galleries at Tate Britain and Tate Modern. We operate seven days a week, including Friday and Saturday until 22.00. We have the largest membership scheme of its type in Europe and are very proud of the service we offer.

As a MTS Assistant you will work in both the gallery and our contact centre confidently selling tickets, membership and related products, building customer relationships and delivering the type of high quality service that people like to talk about. You’ll also be required to use your organisation skills to complete data input duties and manage your daily till. The job is busy and demanding at times, but we are a friendly team who share ideas and support each other.

Tate aims to attract and retain talented people from all backgrounds. We particularly encourage applications from black, Asian, ethnic minority, and/or disabled applicants as these groups are currently underrepresented in the cultural sector.

The available positions are full-time and part-time on a fixed term basis. Please download and view the Job Description for more details. You will be asked to confirm on your application whether you wish to apply for either the full-time or part time positions. We are unable to accept applications for both positions.

This position is offered on a fixed-term contract until end of September 2020.

Our jobs are like our galleries, open to all
