Research Programme Manager

Art Education and Academia, Art Museums and Institutions
   Location: London
   Salary: £31,742
Experience: Mid Level
  Organisation: Tate
Deadline: 04/04/2019

Are you a self-motivated and collaborative manager keen to work in the arts?

We are looking for someone to join Tate Research to support and supervise the smooth running of the department and manage our programme of studentships and fellowships.

You will be joining the team at an exciting moment, following the recent combining of Research with Learning into one department.

Scholarship forms a central part of Tate’s overarching vision and we are drafting a new strategy and delivery plan for research that will be implemented across the organisation in 2019. This role will make an important contribution to both.

In this role you will be leading on the Collaborative Doctoral studentships and Fellowships programme, working closely with colleagues internally and with external partners. You will also be supporting research across the organisation by organising research training and learning opportunities for staff, students, and fellows.

Working in collaboration with colleagues across Research, you will co-ordinate research projects across the department, ensuring that aims, objectives and milestones are met.

You do not need to be an arts specialist to join Tate Research.

We are keen to recruit someone who is passionate about research and the arts, who is self-motivated and very well-organised. We are looking for someone who is an excellent team player, with experience of managing complex research programmes and supporting students, fellows, and supervisors.

Our jobs are like our galleries, open to all
