ROLE PURPOSE: 
 
On behalf of the Head of Corporate Security and Safety, coordinate a range of Security, Health and Safety projects and inspections to support compliance with Security and H&S regulations, standards and legislation.
The main focus of the role is to support improved compliance with security and safety standards in our working environments.  The post holder will support the adoption of and compliance with health and safety policy and procedures, raise awareness of safety risks and reporting processes, monitor H&S training records, assist with Security and H&S inspections and reviews, ensure the completion of work place activity risk assessments, support progression of the annual corporate health and safety action plan, support global Security department and H&S Governance Meetings, analyze security and safety performance data and develop performance reports.
The role holder will also support the global security department with KPI performance management, inspections, reviews, Share point site management and data protection compliance.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES(Duties include but are not limited to the following)
  • Maintaining Security and H&S performance databases and collating information from all regions
  • Analysing Security and H&S performance and writing reports
  • Engaging with colleagues in specialist departments and Operations/facilities teams to ensure understanding and adoption of Security and H&S policy and procedure.
  • Ensuring that risk assessments of high and medium risk workplace activities are conducted in all regions
  • Supporting the roll out of new Security and H&S procedures, e.g. support for staff when they are working alone
  • Maintaining the Security and Safety SharePoint site with accurate and up to date information to promote awareness across the company
  • Organising quarterly global H&S meetings, taking minutes, tracking actions and updates
  • Supporting the Head of Corporate Security in tracking projects and actions, maintaining and analysing Security KPIs and performance data
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience of risk identification and analysis techniques
  • Good working knowledge of project and change management techniques
  • Experienced in using Sharepoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office 365
  • Experienced in document storage and classification standards
  • Good understanding of Data Protection legislation including GDPR
  • Qualification and appropriate experience in Health and Safety management including NEBOSH or OSHA
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders and colleagues
  • Shows initiative and self direction
  • Demonstrates problem-solving, planning and organizing skills.
TRAVEL
  • Prepared to travel globally occasionally, as required by the Head of Corporate Security and Safety.  Max 10% of time
