Visitor Experience Administrator

As winner of 2018 Art Fund “Museum of the Year”, Tate St Ives prides itself on providing an exceptional and seamless experience for our visitors. You will sit at the heart of the Visitor Experience team, ensuring the day runs smoothly for staff by creating efficient rotas and managing the essential admin including overseeing annual leave requests, recording attendance and collating payroll information. The Visitor Experience team is the largest at Tate St Ives with over 100 people (including our volunteers and casuals), so you will need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong and effective working relationships.

You’ll need to work sensitively and efficiently to ensure rotas meet operational needs as well as those of individuals, whilst also remaining within budget. Your proactive and positive approach along with excellent attention to detail will be essential.

As Administrator you will also provide financial support by processing and creating invoices for gallery-based departments. Your days will be busy and varied so your flexible and adept approach to re-prioritising your day at short notice will help the smooth operation of the team.

You’ll be part of a supportive team that puts people first; even on our busiest days we work collaboratively and closely to ensure an enjoyable workplace for all.

You’ll work 5 days per week but working days can be flexible.
